SENATE CONCURRENT RESOLUTION NO. 2

Requesting the Division of Highways name the newly constructed
bridge at Belington, Barbour County, the "Belington Veterans
Memorial Bridge".
Whereas, In tribute to America's veterans, U.S. Route 250
between Philippi and Belington has been named the "Veterans
Highway"; and
Whereas, As an additional tribute, it would be fitting to name
the newly constructed bridge at Belington, Barbour County, the
"Belington Veterans Memorial Bridge" to coincide with the name
already established for that section of U.S. Route 250; therefore,
be it
Resolved by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That the Legislature hereby requests the Division of Highways
to name the newly constructed bridge at Belington, Barbour County,
the "Belington Veterans Memorial Bridge" as a continuing and
fitting tribute to America's veterans; and, be it
Further Resolved, That the Clerk of the Senate is hereby
directed to forward a copy of this resolution to the Commissioner
of the Division of Highways, the Secretary of the Department of
Transportation and the Governor.
